Magnus is an exceptionally well-tempered dog! He has also excelled in the show ring, both as a puppy and a young adult. Judges are impressed with his beautiful head, lush, thick coat, heavy bone, general structure, willing attitude and carriage, and movement. Magnus is super affectionate and extremely obedient. He was a puppy who didn’t nip or jump up, and always has a happy attitude, is willing to learn, eager to please, and share toys, food, and treats with other animals and people. An amazing ball retriever, Magnus has a very soft mouth. He loves water games, has low-medium energy with lots of play drive, but medium-low prey drive. Magnus chases squirrels with vigour, his magnificent rear quarters pushing like a steam engine, but I think if he caught one, he would lick it and give it his ball – that is what he does with his cat.

Magnus tested as a confident guard dog in his temperament test too!! He is herding instinct certified and has his Pre-Companion Dog obedience designation, and has 1 more leg to go for his CD in obedience. Magnus is a proven natural breeder, and enjoys this activity very much! He’s ready to meet more lady friends of medium-soft to medium-hard temperament of good conformation and passing health tests, including Eyes, Thyroid and EPI. Although not a giant in height (yet), Magnus is a giant in character.
